Thalle Industries Celebrates 20 Years of Impact with Camp Morty

  • by

Thalle Industries was proud to join the Westchester Parks Foundation (WPF) in celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Camp Morty.

The milestone event brought together supporters, alumni, and local leaders to honor two decades of providing life-changing overnight camp experiences to more than 8,000 Westchester children.

Thalle Industries’ presence at the anniversary reflects the company’s ongoing dedication to WPF and its vital youth initiatives. Beyond supporting Camp Morty, Thalle remains deeply invested in WPF’s annual gala and broader mission to preserve and enhance Westchester’s 50-plus public parks.

Demonstrating this shared vision, Thalle’s President and CEO, Glenn Pacchiana, serves on the WPF Board of Trustees. His active leadership reinforces Thalle’s commitment to community stewardship, environmental preservation, and ensuring local youth have access to transformative outdoor experiences.

The emotional evening featured a tribute to camp namesake Morton H. “Morty” Hyman, a memorial bench dedication honoring former director Andrea Russo, and a moving floating lantern ceremony on the lake.

Established in 2006, Camp Morty offers traditional summer activities—including hiking, swimming, arts, and leadership building—to children receiving services through Westchester’s Department of Social Services. The program empowers campers to build confidence, resilience, and lifelong friendships in a supportive environment.
